1: Cadillac Cien conept

This halo supercar concept by Cadillac features a wedge-shaped design not unlike the MacBook Air. The similarities are extra noticeable in silver.

2: Volkswagen Golf

The Golf’s handsome but understated design is very Apple-like. So is the car’s universal appeal, transcending class, gender, and personality type.

3: Model S

The Model S is so Apple-esque that many AAPL shareholders have called for the corporation to buy Tesla entirely. Besides, its closer in design to a laptop than an ICE car.

4: The entire Audi range

A bunch of entry-luxury products that all look the same but in different sizes? That’s the Apple formula.

5: Porsche 911

Like the iPhone versus other smartphones, the 911 is the car all other sportscars are benchmarked against. Iterative design evolution, outperforms other cars that have supposedly better specifications, and engineered to perfection, the 911 is the epitome of Apple philosophy applied to automobiles.

The 911 couldn’t have been designed by Apple, it’s form is a product of it’s function and it is reasonably priced in relation to its competitors, these are not ideals embraced by Apple. If it were it would be 2 times the price with half the performance. That and it’s not designed as a throw away object to be forgotten when the latest (but basically the same with slightly newer technology) iteration is released to the public.

If there is any VAG that was designed by Apple, it would be the Veyron. Flashy, super expensive and you could get something way more fun for way less.

There isn’t even a direct competitor for the WRX, let alone something better. If you’re willing to overlook AWD, a FoST or Miata might be more fun, but they can’t keep up with a WRX.

Unless Dieter Rams designed a car in his Braun days, apple couldn’t design a car if they tried, since there’d be nothing to plagiarize from. They couldn’t design themselves out of a paper bag. The most that the iphonies have changed is the back and side treatments, from looking like a rounded brick (classic Rams) to the current one which looks like a Chinese knockoff of the Nokia Lumia 925 with an iphonie face.
